A Quick Garden Recovery in Epsom
Recently, we were called out to a garden in Epsom where a homeowner had misplaced an errant clothes line pole holder. Hidden beneath long grass, it had completely vanished from sight and was proving impossible to locate by eye alone.
Thankfully, this one didn’t take long! With detector in hand, Yanne quickly picked up a clear signal and uncovered the missing holder in no time at all. Thanks to a few well placed bleeps, the mystery was solved, and the homeowner can once again hang out their washing without a worry.
A New Year’s Day Emergency Call Out in Walton-on-the-Hill
Metal detecting doesn’t stop for bank holidays! On New Year’s Day, Murray headed out on an emergency call to help John, who had lost a gold elephant pendant earlier in the year while installing a fence at the side of a field.
Despite a thorough and careful search of the area, the pendant sadly remained elusive. However, not all was lost! The ground still had a story to tell, revealing an old buckle and a coin, offering a fascinating glimpse into the site’s past. While the main item wasn’t recovered this time, every search adds knowledge, experience, and sometimes a little unexpected history.
