We’re excited to share some fantastic news with you all! 🎉
The Bearded Bleepers have just been featured in The View, a local community magazine for residents of Headley and Box Hill. The article highlights who we are and showcases some of the metal detecting finds we’ve made around the area.
You can view our article in The View HERE.
Among the finds featured are two Edward VI silver shillings, which were officially declared treasure through the Portable Antiquities Scheme and are likely to be acquired by Dorking Museum. It’s always a privilege to see local history recognised and preserved for future generations.
We’re already looking forward to getting back out detecting around Headley and Box Hill once the weather improves, with plans to resume our search in Spring. Who knows what’s still waiting to be uncovered beneath the fields?
As always, we’ll be sharing everything we find – and the history behind it – right here on our website, over on YouTube, and across our social channels.
Stay tuned… there’s plenty more history to unearth! 🧔♂️🔔
…and don’t forget, from 14th February you will be able to view our finds in person at the Shere Museum.
