The Sangria Went to Her Head!

About Smokeless Heat Logs

Well… this was a surprise!

While away on holiday in Mallorca, my wife somehow decided it would be a good idea to get a tattoo of me metal detecting on her arm. I’m still not entirely sure whether it was true love, too much sangria, or a combination of both, but I absolutely love it! 😄

To be fair, she probably deserves some kind of medal for putting up with life behind the scenes of The Bearded Bleepers. While I’m out roaming the Surrey Hills with the Equinox 900, chasing signals and digging muddy holes, she’s the one back home helping look after the grandkids, keeping everything ticking over, and tolerating the endless soundtrack of metal detecting videos being edited in the background.

Honestly, I don’t know how she puts up with the constant *bleep… bleep… bleep* coming from my office every evening while I edit footage. I think a decent pair of headphones might need to be my next investment before I get banned from the house altogether!

But joking aside, none of this would really work without her support. Behind every detectorist disappearing off into muddy fields at the crack of dawn is usually someone patient enough to put up with the mud on the boots, random finds on the kitchen table, and endless conversations about buttons, buckles and old coins.

So here’s a little appreciation post for the lady behind the Bleepers. Thank you for all the support, patience, and for apparently loving metal detecting enough to make it permanent! ❤️😂
